In samenwerking met Stichting id11, The Dutch Art Institute (Post graduate research and practice in Art), werkt STeC aan de realisatie van FLAT_land. We beschikken over een groeien aantal flatwoning in twee flatgebouwen in de Poptahof in Delft. De woningen zijn in goede staat en bevinden zich in twee flats dicht bij elkaar nabij het winkelcentrum De Hoven Passage in Delft. De flatwoningen worden ingezet als projectruimte en expositieruimte. De woningen zijn beschikbaar tot eind 2009 en zullen daarna gesloopt worden. De projectruimtes kunnen worden gebruikt voor kort lopende projecten in de periode mei tot en met eind 2009. Kunstenaars worden uitgenodigd in de projectruimte locatie gebonden werk te maken of in hun werk een relatie te leggen met de woonomgeving. Er zal maandelijks een presentatie zijn van het werk.
Het project dat STeC hier realiseert is FLAT_land RE_loaded.
Het project dat de DAI hier realiseert is Negotiating Equity.
Het project dat id11 hier realiseert is Het Tijdelijk Verblijf.

FLAT_land RE_loaded
Kunstintiatief STeC zal hier het project; FLAT_land RE_loaded realiseren. Dit project wordt een Site Specific project, waarbij het formele gegeven van een dergelijke flatwoning op het punt van sloop en waarbij het maatschappelijke sociale gegeven van deze locatie centraal staan.

Aan het project nemen deel; Lisa van Bommel, Astrid Dekkers, Nina Gloudemans, Roos Hoffmann, Jolanda Jansen, Matthijs Kiel, Hetty Krapels, Viola Onderdelinden, Myrthe Rootsaert en Esther Tamboer.

Together with id11 and The Dutc Art Institute (Post graduate research and practice in Art), STeC is realising the project FLAT_land. Gradually artists and art take possession of the two slowly abandoned flats and eventually they will be demolished for a newly build flat. The apartments in the flatbuilding will be used for temporary exhibitions and projects. The apartments are in two flats close to each other. They are in a good state and in walking distance from shopping centre De Hoven Passage in Delft. The temporary flat is easy to reach by public transport. The apartments and the house are available until the end of 2009 and will be demolished after. Artists are invited to realise projects on location or in relation with the neighbourhood. Every month there will be a presentation of the projects.
